Located on 8.5 acres of beautiful land in Farmington, New York, gateway to the Finger Lakes region, this full service facility will provide the ideal setting for your canine companion.

Boom Towne consists of four distinctly designed sections within its 23 thousand square foot brand new facility. Both the boarding and day camp are equipped with special Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Each system brings in fresh air from outside and expels the inside air. In addition, each system is equipped with Ultra Violet light boxes in the return air ducts which irradiate the returning air and kills many airborne viruses, including the canine flu virus.

The suites within the boarding area are specially designed for the comfort of your dog. None of the dogs in our boarding area are caged, crated or locked in unattended runs Each suite has glass front doors for easy viewing by the kennel attendant. Fold-down beds permit the dog to sleep and lounge comfortably. The floors hygienically designed for power cleaning and draining away from the dogs living spaces. Several dogs can fit comfortably in the large suite and can accommodate families of dogs who wish to board together. The medium suite comfortably accommodates dogs 25 – 125 pounds, and the small suites are large enough for dogs up to 80 pounds.

Inside the kennel area, there are several large play areas where kennel attendants play with the boarded dogs one-on-one. Each dog in the kennel is walked four times a day and receives two fifteen minute play times one-on-one with a kennel attendant. Dogs can also opt for group play with other boarded dogs under the supervision of a kennel attendant. As a result of this regularly scheduled activity, the dogs eat well, sleep well, and remain healthy during their stay at Boom Towne.

The Day Care facilities include both indoor and outdoor play areas. Our Day Care attendants structure the canine’s day with a variety of healthy interactive games, as well as a lunch break and nap-time. The large outdoor play areas include a pea-gravel area that drains well and remains hygienically clean as well as a new grassy dog park.

The Grooming shop is equipped with a HydroSurge which mixes fresh water, shampoo and air into a spray to deep clean your dog's coat. We also use an hydraulic grooming table so dogs do not have to jump on and off the grooming table. Our large stainless steel tub also has a ramp for the dogs to walk up into the tub.

The Training facility is designed to accomodate a wide varity of training activities. The floor is covered with non-slip, industrial antifatigue matting that feels like walking on sneakers. It cusions the dog's feet and also is comfortable for the owners.

The building has parking for 75 cars and minivans and separate fenced areas for day-care and boarding dogs for good weather play. The entire 8.5 acres is professionally landscaped and lined with a variety of trees and shrubs, an idyllic setting suited for agility and obedience trials or matches as well as conformation shows or matches.
