At Sass-A-Lodge^sm each dog is assigned to a private suite. We offer 12 Five Star Luxury Suites with 5'x'10' rooms, 32 Premium Luxury Suites with 4'x7' rooms, and 32 Luxury Suites with 4'x5' rooms. Our facility has two separate HVAC systems to keep your dog comfortable. Each system is equipped with Ultraviolet light chambers to kill airborne germs.

Dogs are never separated by chain link fencing. They are always separated by solid panels both inside and outside. This reduces the probability that a sick dog in one room will infect a healthy dog in another room. This also reduces the risk of injury. Further more solid panels are easier to clean and disinfect. We use Rocal^® -D Plus, a disinfectant recommended by Doctors from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Rocal^® -D Plus is not an irritant like household bleach.

Each suite has a bed for your dog. Multiple dogs from the same family can share the same suite at a reduced rate for each additional dog.

• Dogs may be picked up or dropped off 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM every day of the week, including holidays.
• Each dog is walked at least 4 times per day.
• Each dog gets two 15 minute playtimes with a staff member every day.
• A trained staff member is on site 24 hours each day.
• We feed Iams, a premium dog food, as appropriate for you dog’s age and breed. Arrangements can be made for special dietary needs.

Group Play sessions are available to well socialized dogs. See PicturesThe play groups will be seperated into small dogs (< 20 Lbs.) and large dogs (20 Lbs. or more). Each session will be 1 hour long and will be held each morning and afternoon. Dogs (male & female) must be neutered to participate.

Tours of facility:

• Stop by Boom Towne for a complete tour of our facility any time from 7 AM to 8 PM seven days a week. No appointment is required.

Policies:

• All dogs must have proof of vaccinations faxed from their veterinarian to Boom Towne (Fax # 585-924-0209). This includes Rabies, as required by state law, DHLP (commonly know as distemper) based on the frequency recommended by your veterinarian, and kennel cough (Bordetella) .
  • The kennel cough vaccination must be given at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of your stay at Boom Towne's Sass-a-Lodge.
  • If the inoculation was administered through the nostrils (intranasal) it can not be more than 6 months old as of the last day of your stay.
• We reserve the right to refuse admission of dogs lacking proof of vaccinations, displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions (including parasites), or aggressive behavior.
• Owners can provide their own food. We require that the owner supplied food be pre-packaged in a single bag for each dog for each meal. Boom Towne will provide all necessary dishes. Owner provided food which is not prepackaged will incure an extra fee.
• Bedding and toys must be clearly labled with the owner's last name and the dog's name.
• New customers
  • New customers to Boom Towne's Sass-A-Lodge^sm will be required to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE prepayment of three nights or the length of their reservation, which ever is less. If for any reason the reservation is canceled the prepayment remains as a credit to be used at Boom Towne.The prepayment can be applied to any Boom Towne service if used within the next 12 months.

Pricing

• The 4 walks and two 15 minute playtimes are included in the base price for each size suite.
• Check out time is 1:00 PM. After 1:00 PM an extra fee of 75% of a night will be charged.
• There is an extra fee for the group playtime.
